Interface at Everest Poker
For those that are not bound to US poker sites, Everest Poker is a very good room for those new to the game. For this next entry, I would like to explain the pros and cons of its interface.
As I already mentioned, the main problem with Everest’s download free poker site is the large amount of computer resources the program needs. Before you start thinking that the software is useless, though, let me mention some of the positives.
There is a strict requirement for smooth navigation on the best online poker sites, and Everest Poker has acted accordingly. You have the choice of searching through the various games employing a tabbed navigation system, or you can customize it to show you only the games of your choosing. Once you figure out which method you like best, you should have no problems finding exactly what you need.
One of the best things about being able to play on money poker sites is the chance to play more than one table at a time. With regards to table sizing, you can stretch and expand Everest Poker's tables however you'd like, but there is something you get that most other sites don’t give: an option for four different resolutions for your tables! These resolutions are 640x480, 800x600, 1024x728, and 1280x960. When you consider resizable tables and resolution choices, you have to admit that the Everest Poker download has jumped ahead of other sites in this aspect.
In the end, though, the memory problem is still a big one. If they ever want to catch the Bwin Poker download in popularity, they will have to figure out a way reduce the toll on people’s computers. You can cease table animations, but it doesn’t really help matters.
If you would rather wait for Everest to give their software an overhaul prior to trying it out, there are plenty of other sites to download. A few weeks ago I mentioned Tiger Gaming as one of your options. Whatever you choose, good luck and have fun!
